For this case we know that by definition, the conversion of foot to inches is given by:

1 foot = 12 inches.

Applying the conversion to the given expression we have:

(32 \frac {feet} {s ^ 2}) 12 \frac {inches} {feet} = 384 \frac {inches} {s ^ 2}

Answer:

The acceleration due to gravity in inches per second squared is:

384 \frac {inches} {s ^ 2}
