Hey there!
The War Hawks were young members of congress from the south and west that wanted to go to war/w Great Britain so they could gain land.
I hope that helps!

The "War Hawks" in the United States were mainly "
frontier settlers and farmers of the West and South who wanted to expand America's frontiers," although this phrase can apply throughout world history to mean any group that is in favor of war.
