The two figures can be similar if

(b_2)/(b1)=(h2)/(h1)

Since b1 = 9 cm and h1 = 18 cm

Since b2 = 12 cm and h2 = 54 cm

(b_2)/(b_1)=(12)/(9)=(4)/(3)
(h2)/(h1)=(54)/(18)=3

Since they are not equal, then the two figures are not similar

The answer is NO
