A Driving Under the Influence conviction will remain on a drivers record for Seventy-Five years. This is two-fold. First, it is a serious offense, and needs to be remembered for many years. Second, this allows insurance to be able to see the conviction for quite a while, and make them able to adjust their rates appropriately.
