Using the formula C=2TTr, find the circumference of a circle with a diameter of 28 in. round your answer to the nearest inch

B. 28 in

radius = diameter /2

so radius = 28/2 = 14

Circumference = 2 x pi x 14 = 28 pi

or from calculator = 87.96 inches ....correct to 2 decimal places

radius = diameter/2

so 28/2=14

using 3.14 for PI

2*3.14*14 = 87.92 = 88 inches
