Answer: Speciation

Speciation is a process in which the new species are formed due to the effect of the evolution. It occurs when the population of the species being isolated by a barrier. The new species formed, will be reproductively isolated from the parental species. Hence, rapid evolution of a small population to produce a new species is an example of speciation.
