a. (140x110)+[(50x70)/2] = 15,400+1750= 17,150cm^2

b. (4x6)/2= 12cm^2

$Area_(ABCD)=110*140=15400 \ cm^2\\ DO=180-110=70 \ cm \\DF=140-50=90 \ cm \\ Area_(DOF)= (70*90)/(2)= 3150 \ cm^2 \\ Area_(ABCO)=15400+3150=18550 \ cm^2$

Area = (4*6)/2 = 12

$Area_(ABCE)=8^2=64 \ ft^2 \\ DE= √(10^2-8^2)= √(36)=6 \ ft \\ Area_(ADE)=(6*8)/2=24 \ ft^2 \\ Area_(ABCD)=64+24=88 \ ft^2$
