f(x) = (3)/(5x)

with x in the denominator.

Obviously we can find the vertical asymptote by equating denominator to 0

i.e. x=0 or y axis is the vertical asymptote

To find horizontal asymptote:

Let us write x in terms of y and find any exception to y

From given function we can write

x=3/5y

Here x becomes undefined for y=0

so horizontal asymptote is y=0
