since the area of a rectangle is the multiplication of it's length by it's height we can pose a equation that describes the situation:

(3(2)/(3))*(?)=11

? is the length of the missing side, now we can solve the equation to find it:

we first convert the mixed number in a fraction

(((3*3)+2)/(3))*(?)=11

simplifying

(11)/(3)*?=11

now we multiply both sides of the equation by 3/11 to despejate the ?

?=(3*11)/(11)=3Then the lenght of the missing side is 3 meters
