Find the area of the sector with a central angle of 120° and a radius of 8 inches. leave in terms of ?.

I'm assumig you meant ?=pi

so the area of the sector would be the area of the circle times the fraction of the circle that is

the fraction of the circle would be degrees/360 since 360 degrees in a circle
and area of course is pir^2

so
r=8
degrees=120
so
area=pi8^2 times 120/360
area=64pi times 1/3
area=64pi/3
I think you mean 64/3 pi in²
so D is the answer
