C(t) = 0.37+0.08(t-1)

Company Y charges $0.52 for the first minute and $0.14 for each additional minute.

for t minutes company Y charges


C(t) = 0.52+0.14(t-1)

If 5 dollar is spent, then for company A

t =
(5-0.37)/(0.08)+1 =58.875 minutes

For company B, for same 5 dollars,

t =
(5-0.52)/(0.14) =33
