NPDI is also known as Net Private Domestic Investment. NPDI is also the amount that is added or deleted to the capital base after depreciation. Net Private Domestic Investment is being computed by the formula gross investment (GPDI) less depreciation cost. The result of NPDI shows the increase in capital stocks that is gained from investments.
