In Chapter 16 of The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle, Charlotte is accused of a serious crime that she didn't

commit. Think of the last time you were accused of or blamed for something that you didn't do. Write down how it made
you feel in a journal entry of about 150 words. If you haven't had this experience recently, imagine how it might feel, and

I get blamed all the time, most of the time it is actually my fault though, by my mom, aunt, and uncle. One time, I got accused of not shutting the freezer door because I got ice cream out of it the night before. The next morning, we went into the kitchen and the freezer had ice all in it. I had to clean all of the ice out. The bigger pieces that I could not get off I had to hit with a big spoon. It made me feel horrible that my mom thought that I had done that. I went to my room and cried. All my aunt said to me when she got there was “Well, it was your fault and crying will not change that.” I got mad then and said “Well, you and Brett (my uncle) got your groceries out of there yesterday after I got my ice cream so you can not say anything about me.” We all apologized to each other and agreed to make sure the freezer door was closed correctly.

I said I didn't take it but I actually did take her food. Me and my sister would always play around like that. She would steal my food and I would steal hers. When she found out I took her food she got mad then sticked her tongue out at me and stool my food. Why did Charlotte keep the dirk? Charlotte was bored living on the ship because she didn't have her family and she was also upper-class. This changed because she got to meet the crew and the captain face-to-face, she also met new people that are really nice like Zachariah. Ever sense that time I still still steal my sisters food and she still steals mine.
