Well in order for them to be parallel they have to have the same slope
So y = 2x +7
The y intercept has to be different

Any line which is parallel to y=2x-4 will have a slope of 2 (=coefficient of x).
For example, y=5+2x, y=2x-1, y=2x, 2x-y=7, etc.
