A company is looking to design a new cover for their smartphone. The scale drawing of the design is shown below. The coordinates of the actual cover are: A' (22, 0); B' (0, 0); C' (0, 44); D' (22, 44). Is the design of the cover similar to the actual cover? Rectangle ABCD is shown. Point A at 2,0. B is at 0,0. C is at 0,4. D is at 2,4.

Yes; the corresponding sides are proportional. I don't know if this helps but I put this as my answer and got it right.

Yes, it is similar.

The scale drawing and the actual cover are similar because the scale drawing has been formed by shrinking the cover. The scale factor is 1/11, centered at the origin. This means that the ratio of the sides of the actual cover to the corresponding sides of the image is constant and equivalent to 1/11. Therefore, the drawings are similar.
