What is the pattern 5,-30,180,1080

I'm not sure how the negative plays its role but I do know that if you multiply 5 x 6 you get 30 and if you multiply 30 x 6 you get 180 and if you multiply 180 x 6 you get 1080. maybe there was supposed to be a - in front of 1080, then you could multiply by -6 or maybe there wasn't suppose to be a - in front of the 30. I don't know. If the - isn't a typo, I don't know. But if it's not and the - is suppose to be in front of the 30 and 1080 then the answer is -6 and if there is suppose to be no - at all, then the answer is 6.
