If you drop a 200 gram piece of metal with a temperature of 110 degrees Celsius into 1000 grams of water at 25° Celsius, what best describes what would occur?

Steam because the piece of hot metal will warm up some of the H20 atoms and turn them from a liquid to a gas because of the transfer of energy. As the hot piece of metal is cooling off ,it's transferring energy to some of those H2O atoms and warms them up and the more heat they got and the more energy, the faster they move.
