Homo erectus was the first hominid species to migrate. They moved out of Africa and colonized Europe and Asia . Early humans migrated out of Africa more than 60000 years ago. One of the destinations of the first migrating hominids were: Pakistan, Levant, Caucasus, China and Israel. The first archaeological evidence of a human migration out of Africa was found in the caves of Qafzeh and Skhul, in present-day Israel.
