The doctor will probably diagnose a CONTUSION. Contusion occurs when blood vessels are damaged as a result of a blow or injury to the skin of the affected area. Bones, muscles or soft tissues can be affected in a contusion. Discoloration of the skin usually occur in contusion as a result of blood leakage.
