One of the biggest debates in psychology is the Nature vs Nurture arguments. Is a person's development based on his or her DNA or on their life experiences and environment? Both sides of the debate make great arguments and both have things to back them up.

Nature vs. nurture applies in many areas in psychology. In terms of development, I believe that it's nurture. A well nurtured person will develop a lot better and a lot faster than one that's not well nurtured. Nature has a little bit to do with it if the person was born will physical or mental illnesses. In terms of intelligence, I would say both play a role. Nurture is important for the health and overall development which effects everything. Nature determines how mentally capable a person is. Some people's brains simply function better than others, and some might have mental disabilities. I believe personality is mainly influenced by both equally. A lot of a person's personality is influenced by their environment and surroundings, but I also believe that a person is born with certain personality traits that cannot be changed by nurture. Mental illness is mainly nature. Most people with mental illness inherit their illnesses, but sometimes it can be caused by nurture. If a person is injured or mistreated as a young child, that can lead to mental illness.

A person's development is in their nature and nurture. A person developments based on what is surrounding them and they way they are treated. One's personality is from both nature and nurture. One's personality depends on multiple factors like ones their life experiences and things they were introduced to. Intelligence is sometimes considered nature but it could also be nurture. A person with a long line of intelligent people who inherited certain genes from their parents is more likely to be more intelligent than someone who doesn't have smart parents. Nutrition and stress can affect how well someone can think. Mental illness is nature because you develop them genetically not from nurture.

Nature refers to heredity: the genetic makeup or "genotypes" (i.e., information encoded in DNA) an individual carries from the time of conception to the time of death.

Nurture, by contrast, refers to various external or environmental factors to which an individual is exposed from conception to death.

Is what you can put an be correct or you can right your own but include

**Nature refers to heredity, the genetic makeup of an individual.

**Nature refers to biological tendencies and capabilities.

**Nurture refers to environmental factors an individual is exposed to in their lifetime.
