5x + 4 = 2x + 7

3x = 3

x = 1

2(1) + 7

JK = 9

Using Isosceles triangle theorem we can determine that JI = JK
Thus
5x + 4 = 2x+7
3x = 3
x=1
Plug it back into the eqution for JK
2(1) + 7 = JK
9 = JK
