B. A man plans a July picnic in the Mojave Desert, but it is spoiled by rain. This is ironic since there is rarely rain in a desert especially in July.

A is more likely coincidence/luck. C Shy people are usually nervous and SHY about speech in front of the school. D snowstorms often happen in winter, it might be ironic if they cancelled school in the summer for snow, 1 there's no school 2 there's usually not snow in hot summer.

Answer:

The correct answer is B.

Step-by-step explanation:

The situational irony is an instrumental tool or device that is commonly used in the literature to put a twist in the plot so that incongruties appears when the story is heading somewhere and by the end tends to turn its direction of events. Therefore that the correct answer is ''B'', because the man that planned the picnic thinks that it won't rain, as it is a dessert where commonly never rains, and at the end it rains, giving place to a twist that the man did not expect.
