Did men oppose the early American women’s rights movement?

some did but some also did not. clearly a lot of them thought women needed to stay in the kitchen and clean things up and be a mother and a wife, but it took the voice of men to make other men listen and give women the rights that they needed. if this is a yes or no question i would say yes, they did, but at the same time they did not. it depends on the person.
