Step-by-step explanation:

A gasoline wiped rag soaks gasoline in it and it cleans the area that is spilled with gasoline. Thus the soak rag contains gasoline and is now dangerous because it is flammable and can easily catch fire. Therefore, after wiping out the gasoline with the rag we should hang it in the open air to dry up for sometime. After the rag is completely dried up, we can keep it the place where used rags are kept or can clean it by washing and now it is safe for reuse.

When a rag is being used to wipe a spilled  gasoline, you need to dry the rags in air making sure that it is away from any combustible substances to avoid further accidents. After they dried up, they are to be stored in a container that is specific for dirty rags.
