raymond is buying boxes of party favors for his son's birthday he has to decide how many boxes he should purchase. twenty eight children will attend the birthday party. if each child gets 10 party favors and there are 70 favors in each box, how many boxes should raymond buy ? please help !

Each child receives 1/7 of a box.

(1/7)(28)=28/7=4

Answer: Raymond should buy 4 boxes.

Number of children will attend the birthday party = 28

Number of favors in a box = 70

Number of party favors get by each child = 10

So, Total number of party favors get by 28 children is given by


28* 10\\\\=280

So, Number of box they need to buy is given by


(280)/(70)=4
