Some eubacteria have the ability to form spores and "hibernate"—in other words, they become metabolically inactive until conditions improve.

Eubacteria have the ability to form spores and "hibernate" until environmental conditions improve.

Eubacteria occupy cell walls composed of peptidoglycan, a chemical that provides their cell wall more strength. When organisms enter a dormant state, due to unfavorable circumstances spores are produced. Spores are identified as an asexual generative cell because these spores have very deep walls and are extensively repellent to the adverse environmental circumstances.
