How much string is out if a kite is 100 feet above the ground and the string makes an angle of 65° with the ground? Draw a diagram and find the length of the string.

The angle is 65°, the opposite side is 100 feet.
The string is the hypotenuse.
sine (65) = 100 / hypotenuse
hypotenuse = 100 / sine 65
hypotenuse = 100 / 0.90631
hypotenuse (length of the string) = 110.338 feet
