Hora Latina (literally meaning latin hour) is a term to describe a widely held belief that latinos always arrive late to an event. As a Hispanic, I can say people in spanish-speaking cultures tend to be more forgiving towards lateness, but punctuality is admired more and hora latina does not mean the same things for jobs or work.

Acceptable: Arriving somewhat or in rare cases, utterly late to an event (party, festivity, ect.)
Unacceptable: Arriving late to an important event or job-related area.
