A. 5.25÷1.75 = 3 batches
B. 5 dozen = 5x12 = 60 per batch
60x3 = 180 cookies in total.

Answer:

The baker made 3 batches of cookies using 5.25 cups of flour and the bakes made 180 cookies.

Explanation:

No. of batches of cookies uses 1.75 cups = 1

No. of batches of cookies uses 1 cup of flour =
(1)/(1.75)

No. of batches of cookies uses 5.25 cup of flour =
(1)/(1.75) * 5.25

=
3

So, the baker made 3 batches of cookies using 5.25 cups of flour

Now we are given that 1 batch contains 5 dozen cookies.

1 dozen = 12 cookies

So, 5 dozen = 12*5 = 60 cookies

So, 1 batch contains 60 cookies

So, 3 batches contains amount of cookies =
60 * 3 = 180

Hence the baker made 3 batches of cookies using 5.25 cups of flour and the bakes made 180 cookies.
