slope = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)
(0,3)....x1 = 0 and y1 = 3
(8,-3)...x2 = 8 and y2 = -3
now sub...pay close attention to ur signs
slope = (-3 - 3) / (8 - 0) = -6/8 = - 3/4 <==
