The area of a triangle is (BaseXHeight)/2

Therefore: 18X15=270 and 270/2= 135.

The area is 135 square inches.

The area of any triangle is half of the product of its height and base, mathematically:

a=hb/2, in this case h=18 and b=15 so

a=15*18/2

a=15*9

a=135 in^2
