Which is equivalent to the expression below?

3p + 4 + p + 12 + 3q


A. 4P + 3q + 16

B. 4p + 10q

C. 6p + q + 16

To find the answer, combine like terms:

3p + p = 4p

4 + 12 = 16

3q has no like terms so it stays the same.

Now put them all together:

4p + 3q + 16 = Option A).
