Part A: -x+y=5
+x +x
y=x+5
4x+x+5=10
5x+5=10
-5 -5
5x=5
x=1
1(-x) +y=5
-1+y=5
+1 +1
y=6
The solution is (1,6)
Part B:
-x+y=5
-1+6=5
5=5
4x+y=10
4(1)+6=10
4+6=10
10=10
