A polynomial is to be constructed that has 5 turning points. What is the minimum degree of the polynomial?

This is the concept of polynomial, the number of turns in a given polynomial can be obtained by the formula:
(n-1) where n is the degree of a polynomial.
Thus given that the number of turns in our polynomial is 5, thus the degree of the polynomial will be:
5=n-1
hence;
n=5+1
n=6
therefore our polynomial has a minimum degree of 6
