Assuming this is around the origin:

To find the rotation by 90 degrees, it would be (y, -x) (Assuming that the x and y are both variables and number figures)

So therefore, (5, 2) would become (2, -5).

I hope this helped! :)

Answer:

coordinates of B(2 , -5).

Explanation:

Given : triangle ABC with vertices A (1,5) B (5,2) And C (-1,2) is rotated 90°.

To find : what are the coordinates of B.

Solution : We have given

Vertices A (1,5) B (5,2) And C (-1,2) is rotated 90° .

By the rotation rule of 90° is ( x , y ) →→ (y , -x).

Then coordinates of B ( 5, 2) →→ B'(2 , -5).

Therefore, coordinates of B(2 , -5).
