Christine's Coffee Shop makes a blend that is a mixture of two types of coffee. Type A coffee costs Christine $5.65 per pound, and type B coffee costs $4.10 per pound. This month, Christine made 136 pounds of the blend, for a total cost of $644.40 . How many pounds of type A coffee did she use?

Basically, the way I do these, is by saying, how much money would she make if she sold all Type B coffee?

So basically to find that, 4.10 * 136, which makes $557.60

And the difference between $644.40 - $557.60 is $86.80

And the difference between how much Type A coffee costs and how much Type B coffee costs is $1.55.

So here you can just divide $86.80 by $1.55, which is 56.

So she used 56 pounds of Type A coffee.
