Solve for m.

2m + 3 = 7

remember you can do anything to an equation as long as you do it to both sides

2m+3=7
minus 3 both sides
2m+3-3=7-3
2m+0=4
2m=4

divide by 2
(2m)/2=4/2
m(2/2)=2
1m=2
m=2
