Simply plug in -15 for x in our given equation.
-x + 2y = -1
-(-15) + 2y = -1
Simplify.
15 + 2y = -1
Subtract 15 from both sides.
2y = -1 - 15
Simplify.
2y = -16
Divide both sides by 2
Y = -8
Hope I helped :)
