y = mx + b
slope(m) = -3/4
(-2,5)...x = -2 and y = 5
now sub and find b, the y int
5 = -3/4(-2) + b
5 = 3/2 + b
5 - 3/2 = b
10/2 - 3/2 = b
7/2 = b

so ur equation is " y = -3/4x + 7/2....or 3x + 4y = 14
now it is just a matter of subbing in ur answer choices to see which ones work.

3x + 4y = 14...subbing in (6,-1)
3(6) + 4(-1) = 14
18 - 4 = 14
14 = 14 (correct).....so (6,-1) is a point on ur line <==
