YWXZ is a parallelogram with diagonals that intersect at point S. If WS = 10 and SZ = 2x – 6, find x.

For a parallelogram with 2 sides at right angles to the other two sides, then with WS =10 and then SZ would equal WS length so SZ = 10 also but SZ=2x-6 so 2x-6=10 and solving for x = 8. That is the answer either if the sides are perpendicular or if WS and SZ are part of the same diagonal.
