Read the passage.

So twice five miles of fertile ground
With walls and towers were girdled round;
And there were gardens bright with sinuous rills,
Where blossomed many an incense-bearing tree…

Which pair of words in these lines from “Kubla Kahn” does Samuel Taylor Coleridge use to create assonance?

“twice” and “miles”
“there” and “were”
“incense” and “bearing”
“With” and “walls”

assonance is basically the repetition of vowel sounds in a line or text.
" twice " and " miles " have the long i sound.....so ur answer is the first answer choice

If the answer is not "Twice" and "Miles," then it has to be "There" and "Were"
