Green Revolution helps in Increase in production, specially of wheat and rice, increasing cropping intensity, growing more cash crops, food security, etc have been some positive effects of the green revolution on India agriculture sector.

Green Revolution helps the farmers' income by booming its economy through using artificial or organic means of making plants grow fast. The negative effect is how these artificial fertilizers, or pesticides could affect the environment in long-term basis.
