It is unchanged and can be used again for the same chemical reaction. It becomes chemically bonded to the products of the reaction. It is unchanged and can be used again for the same chemical reaction. The whole point of a catalyst is that it can be used and reused. Think of it like a machine in a factory that does the work to build something. We don't throw the machine away. It does its job and moves on to do it again.
