If a plant's stomata were always closed, how would this affect the plant's ability to make glucose?

The stomata allows for moisture and gasses (CO2 and O2) to pass in and our of the leaf, thus facilitating photosynthesis. If it were always closed then photosynthesis wouldn't be possible.
