The following women were 19th-century feminist: Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Stanton.

The feminist movement in the 19th century demanded the right for women to vote and to get the same rights than men had. Susan B. Anthony (1820-1906) was a social reformer and an activist that supported the women rights. She supported the Anti-slavery American Society. Elizabeth Stanton was another important activist of that century and was one of the organizers of the Seneca Falls Convention, in Seneca Falls, New York, held in July 1848. It was the first Women’s Rights Convention in America.
