Flying against the wind, a jet travels

3950mi in 5 hours. Flying with the wind, the same jet travels
4280mi in 4 hours. What is the rate of the jet in still air and what is the rate of the wind?

{(V-v)*5=3950(mi)
{(V+v)*4=4280(mi)

{V-v=790
{V+v=1070

2V-v+v=1070+790
2V=1860
V=930(mi/h)

v=V-790=930-790=140(mi/h)
