Suppose A and B are independent events. If P(A)= 0.7 and P(B)= 0.8, what is P(AB)?

This is the theory of probability and statistics, given that P(A)=0.7 and P(B)=0.8 we are required to calculate for the value of P(AB)
thus:
P(AB)=P(A)*P(B)
P(AB)=0.7*0.8
P(AB)=0.56
