every angle of a square equals 90 degrees.

2x - 4 = 90 3y + 6 = 90
2x = 90 + 4 3y = 90 - 6
2x = 94 3y = 84
x = 94/2 y = 84/3
x = 47 y = 28

so x = 47 and y = 28

Answer:

B. x = 28, y = 47

Explanation:

Given that PQRS is a square

We know that , In a square each vertex is a right angle that is 90 degree

So we set two equations

3y+ 6 = 90 and 2x -4 = 90

Solve for x and y

3y + 6 = 90

Subtract 6 from both sides

3y = 84

divide by 3 on both sides

y = 28

2x - 4 = 90

Add 4 on both sides

2x= 94

Divide by 2 on both sides

x= 47
