Why can we see our reflection in a mirror but not in a sheet of paper?

When light hits a mirror, all of it is reflected, none is absorbed, and none passes through. However, when a light hits a piece of paper, all of it is absorbed except for the white-colored light. Since the white-color is reflected, the paper will seem as if it's white. And since the mirror reflects all light, it will look like whatever lightwaves that are hitting it
