then
2P=S+R+T............(1)
3S=P+R+T............(2)
4R=P+S+T............(3)
and
P+S+R+T=Rs. 240 ........(4)

Solve by elimination
(1)+(4) => 3P=240, P=80
(2)+(4) => 4S=240, P=60
(3)+(4) => 5R=240, P=48
